I recently revised both the Alfresco Share Demo and Alfresco Repository Demo Eclipse projects. I added the ability to compile and package Java code to the Share project while only minor revisions were made to the Repository project.

The changes are as follows:

Alfresco Repository Project:
Update build.xml
-revise project.name and remove extra definition of project.name
-revise module.id and remove extra definition of module.id
-add lib.dir to project classpath
-additional explanation on clean-tomcat target
-add lib.dir to package-extension target
-add lib.dir to package-amp target
-add "-Xlint:deprecation" to compiler args in compile target
-add edu and org to package-jar target

Alfresco Share Project:
Add /lib directory to project
Add /src/java directory to project
Add /web/META-INF directory to project
Update build.properties.sample
-Add alfresco.sdk.remote.dir and alfresco.sdk.server.dir
Update build.xml
-revise project.name and remove extra definition of project.name
-revise module.id and remove extra definition of module.id
-add lib.dir
-add package.file.jar
-add source.dir
-revise extension.dir
-add project classpath
-revise description on clean-tomcat target
-add /WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/module to clean-tomcat target
-add compress-js and package-jar dependencies to package-extension target
-add package-jar and compress-js to package-amp target
-add lib.dir to package-amp target
-add compile and package-jar targets
